Authorities Say: Power Failure Not the Work of Terrorists
Saturday near midnight power to several communities in the greater Cincinnati area failed. It took crews aproximately 10 hours to resore power to affected areas.

A spokesman for Cinergy who did not want to identified said "in more than 25 years I've never seen anything like it. [The Power Failure] has affected nearly every grid in the Greater Cincinnati service area."

Power was restored near simultaneously to all affected areas.

The Office of Homeland Security has released a statement: "There is no evidence that the power failures and city wide brown out were the work of any terrorist group or foreign agency. However the causes are still part of an ongoing investigation."
